On Thursday, the US Treasury bond auction went very poorly.
On Thursday, the US Treasury bond auction went very poorly.
Not enough buyers. Primary dealers (large banks) had to buy 25% of bonds.
This forced yields higher.
The implications are dark and affect all of us.
